Well I've committed

Gerald took me on a test drive last night in a car with the same engine as the one we want so I could get a feel for the car. I mean seriously you don't buy a car without test driving right. So today the order is official. We have the car order all written up at the dodge dealership. It is of course pending a bit before it can be submitted. Because it is a 2007 car they are not fully in production yet and the dealership has to wait for their next cycle of allocation comes up, which is in about 1-2 weeks. I guess each dealership is only allowed so many at a time...XXX amount based on their size and sales. So technically the dealership can't even order it for a couple weeks. Then it will be about 6-8 weeks for the factory to make it and ship it out. I have never owned a brand spanking new car. Neither has Gerald. I am so excited. Not only am I getting a new car, but I am getting it custom designed and factory ordered. It will even come with a fancy window sticker that says "This vehicle specially built for Monica & Gerald" HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT! My Lunch date is gonna run more like $19 grand, but hey. I ordered EVERYTHING on the car. Even the souped up engine, and stereo. Plus a few aftermarket accessories (at a nice dodge discount of course) So wish me luck waiting patiently.

Monica, thanks so much for the sand alphabet - you did an AWESOME job.....and I also downloaded the freebie with the blue paper that you mentioned....
Thanks for the invite to the walk in Portland and I might just have to do that....I love doing those kind of things....If I can make it, do I need to raise some sponsors or can I just donate myself and come? we currently have a little 7 yr old girl that was just diagnosed with a very serious cancer....they are giving her about a year....our little town is doing a bunch of fundraisers to help her family. It is there only child - they adopted her when she was 3....needless to say it is heartbreaking. The father went to school with my son.
